With an undergrad and a master’s degree in the humanities, Derrick has studied under some of the finest professors and independent artists of this generation including clay sculpture, Italian relief work, drawing with ink, pencil, charcoal and pastels and painting with oils and acrylics.
He’s based in Louisville, Kentucky out of his home studio, and periodically submits pieces to galleries.
